Prerequisite: willing to sing  
Open to: 7-9
This ensemble of ALL voices types studies a wide range of styles and difficulty levels of choral literature. The course promotes beginning/intermediate vocal production (helps students through their vocal change), part-singing, sight-reading, and music theory concepts. Some evening and out-of-class time is required for concerts. Attendance is mandatory at all performances. 
 

Prerequisite: Audition Only (spring)-See Teacher

This is a course for advanced mixed voices (soprano, mezzo, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass) by audition only. This course promotes intermediate/advanced vocal production, part-singing, sight-reading, music theory concepts through study of some of the very finest of choral ensemble literature. There is a heavy emphasis on public performances. Attendance is mandatory at all performances.
 

Prerequisite: Audition Only (spring)-See Teacher  
Open to: 8-9
This course is open to all students, but must meet with the instructor for an audition. Course emphasizes basic concepts in vocal production in the musical theater and modern styles of singing, and preparing, blocking, choreographing(dancing), and performing music for a showcase concert at the end of each semester. Some evening and out-of-class time is required for concerts. Attendance is mandatory at all performances.

This ensemble of soprano, mezzo, and alto voices studies a wide range of styles and difficulty levels of choral literature. The course promotes beginning/intermediate vocal production (helps students through their vocal change), part-singing, sight-reading, and music theory concepts. The course promotes beginning/intermediate vocal production (helps students through their vocal change), part-singing, sight-reading, and music theory concepts. Some evening and out-of-class time is required for concerts. Attendance is mandatory at all performances.

This course is open to students with treble voices (soprano, mezzo, and alto) who function at the intermediate/advanced level. You can register by audition only. Some knowledge of vocal technique, pitch-matching facility, and music reading is expected as a prerequisite. Course covers vocal production, part-singing, and advanced music theory concepts. Some evening and out-of-class time is required for concerts. Attendance is mandatory at all performances. This class competes at competitions in the region and state.
