Wrestling and Boys’ basketball wrap up the first week back.

Boy's Basketball

The Bears basketball team split their games again this week winning at home against Maria Montessori, but dropping a tough one at HighMark Charter school. Our Bears saw some good improvements against the number one team in the district, but were unable to close the gap in the end. Our last two games are this week as we travel to Highland on Wednesday the 17th and finish the season at home against Mt. Ogden on Thursday the 18th. As these are both our intradistrict rivals, we are expecting our Bears to come out with our best games of the season.

Wrestling

Our two lone Bears wrestled extremely well at the district championships at Ben Lomond HIgh School. Angel Florez took second place with Liege Ferrier placing fourth. Coach Eden expressed how happy he was about the work ethic of these two athletes and is so proud of how they have competed. The two will attend the Northern State Tournament at Bingham High on the 27th of January, to wrap up their season.
