Event Details & Schedule:
Location: Lorin Farr Park (trail to Big D Sports Park and back)
6:00 AM: Packet Pick-Up & Warm-Up
8:00 AM: Race Starts!
Post-Run Party Crossing the finish line is just the beginning! Stick around at Lorin Farr Park for local vendor booths, games for all ages, food trucks, and prize drawings. 🥳
Registration: $30 per participant (proceeds go directly to school meal debt).
Group & Family Friendly! Register individually, but pay together!
Group or family entries can be covered in a single bulk Venmo payment—just list all participant names in the Venmo note.
Not a runner? You can still make a difference!

Congratulations to each of our Achieving Higher award recipients for September 2026. This peer-nominated award recognizes individuals for their exemplary effort to do more than what is expected in service of their colleagues and our students.
Our next recipient this month is Connor Pack - Mound Fort Junior High School Music Teacher
"Mr. Pack has done a stellar job, along with Mr. Beal at Mount Ogden, in supporting the incredible students in our state-championship-winning Ogden High School marching band. His patience, optimism, and commitment at all hours of the day and night, are unmatched. Whenever the program and the students have needed him, he has given selflessly for their success. We genuinely appreciate his leadership and persistence. The band will continue to be truly exceptional thanks to his work."

We were deeply moved by guest speaker Brad Snyder, a veteran and Paralympic athlete who shared an unforgettable message on strength, mindset, and perseverance.
This year, we are embracing our district theme: "The Power of YET." Because growth doesn't stop, learning doesn't end, and the best is truly YET to come!
To all of our amazing teachers and staff: thank you for your dedication, passion, and endless hard work. We are ready to make this our best school year YET!

We had an incredible time at our Opportunity Center Open House! Our family liaisons were on site assisting families with school registration, handing out supplies, and connecting parents with amazing local partners like Midtown Clinic, United Way, and many more.
From live student performances to our "Many Hands" community art project, it was a day full of connection and support. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We are community and opportunity for ALL! 🎨📚🤝
